The databases which were installed should be ready to browse and access using either SQL Server Management Studio or the SQLCMD tool. I could run it after I enabled the environment variables that were commented out at the top of the script. I want the AdventureWorks Database for SQL Server 2008 and I am using windows 7 64 bit ultimate. For the purpose of this example, the only instance I have available is the Default instance. I have used Adventureworks DB version of 2005 as that is what was questioned from user. Browse to and look/search for your desired sample database OR alternatively you can directly navigate to for AdventureWorks sample database. Worked for me for SQLServer Express 2012. If you find that you need to enable FILESTREAM for File I/O Streaming access, you can enable this option later.
